Departures: Departs from the Amador Causeway daily at 8:00am select dates between July and October. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher sent via email.

Children: Minimum age is 4 years old. Kids ages 4 to 12 pay a discounted rate!
Restrictions: There are not medical restrictions, however keep in mind this activity is on a small boat so the ride can be a little bouncy for those with back issues. If you have limited mobility, please contact us so we can determine if this is the best whale watching option for you. If you get motion sickness, please take your choice of seasick pill a minimum of 1 hour prior to departure.
Insider Tip> We love this tour option because it is affordable and only half day so much more accessible to most people, including cruise ship passengers on tight schedules! The stunning view from the bay is wonderful, the stop at Taboga is a real treat, and you will have about 3 hours seeking out marine life. And the guides want to see whales just as much as you do because they love what they do. However, if you have the time to get all the way out to the Pearl Islands, the full day trips have much more marine life viewing opportunities and a larger concentration of whales (They are fancy whales, they love the Pearl Islands as much as we do). But again, if on a budget or short on time, this is your best public whale watching tour option.
Cruise Ship Passengers: This is a great shore excursion from Panama City if your boat gets in by 7:00am, and also arrives during the whale watching season in Panama of course. (Thank you to Norwegian & Pricess Cruises for visiting us during our not so peak season!) The tour departs from the same area you arrive. However please keep in mind if you tender, you will need to be in line for one of the first trips off the boat.
