Panama Cruise Ship Passengers: This is the perfect shore excursion in Panama for those who are less interested in history and more interested in some beach time. With the flexible schedules, this beach break is perfect for any cruise ship itinerary.
Children: Children ages 1 to 6 pay the $14 round trip ferry ticket only. Children ages 7 to 12 pay a discounted rate.
Notes: There are several extra activities available from Taboga Island such as snorkeling, 4x4 island tours, bird watching, bike rentals and fishing gear. Prices range from $15 to $50 per person so if you think you would like to participate, be sure to bring extra cash. Your guide can provide you with detailed information upon arrival.
Insider Tip: We love this day trip to Taboga Island because it feels like you are all the way in the Pearl Islands, but you do not have to travel half the day to get there. It is literally just right in front the city with the beautiful Panama City Skyline as the backdrop. This is why locals and tourists alike flock here. If you want to avoid the crowds, book your Taboga Island tour on a week day. Taboga is a really popular hot spot for locals, so the beaches are a bit more crowded then with people and boats.
Pet Friendly Tour! Want to bring your furry friends to Taboga Island with you? We can accept pets on board the ferry and at the resort for an additional fee of $10 to cover the ferry Your dog will need to be on a leash at all times, and you will need to present a cleaning kit to carry with you on board.
